Staying in Livonia I had read about The Henry Ford. Wow, what a surprise, I was expecting cars but found trains, fantastic examples of, planes and cars. I didn't expect to see all the Presidents cars, particularly JFKs. If one had the time visit the museum and expect a lot more...

This was very cool. The museum was way more interesting than expected. It had the limo in which Kennedy was riding when he was shot and the bus that made Rosa Parks famous. It was very good. Greenfield Village, on the other hand, was disappointing. If you have to choose which places to go, I would opt for the factory... More

What a great place. Not just cars and not just Fords. Planes, trains, farm equip, president's limos and many historical displays. You could spend the whole day there. I love museums and I think this is one of the best I've been to.

You need several days. I enjoyed the furniture, cars, and the silver collections. I found great gifts for my grandson at the museum. I would like to bring my family back to spend more time here. The museum is for one day. We did the Village also and that was too much for the time that we had.

So many things to see under one roof. Nicely displayed items from yesteryear, cars and auto memorabilia, furnishings set up in homes from the pioneer days to today. We especially enjoyed the Roadside America display with the quirky road signs and attractions from the early days of auto mobility in America.

From the time my children entered the Ford museum, they were totally intrigued and occupied. The cars, the trains, the air crafts displays, and hands on activity stations, build your car section of the museum are all FANTASTIC! If we had more time, we would have visited the Greenfield village the next day. Because the place is quite big, I... More

Very well done. Great for families, couples or individuals. We bought a package with a nearby B&B (Bishops Brighton in Wyandotte). We had a choice of 2 of 3 options--the museum, factory tour or the village. We chose the factory tour and the museum. The tour took about 21/2 hours from departure from the museum and back to the museum... More

We visited the museum and it was awesome. It is a wonderful collection of Americana that includes much more than just automobiles, but the car collection was great. The museum staff is very nice and helpful. It reminded me of a smaller version of the American History Smithsonian Museum. Would definitely recommend if you are in the Dearborn/Detroit area.

If only we had more time..this is such a special museum. It brought back childhood memories when we visited when I was younger. I was able to appreciate it even more now that I am older and shared this awesome place with my husband who truly enjoyed it too. The little cafeteria inside the museum had a great sandwich for the... More
