The Henry Ford offers the Imax Theatre, the museum, Greenfield Village, and Ford Rouge Factory Tour. If you take Southfield Road, it turns into Southfield Freeway and you can take the Rotunda Drive exit. This is a great place to take family and out of town guest. There are great restaurants to choose from such as Andiamo, P.F. Changs, Benihana,... More

The museum is great with a huge amount of history in it from the beginning to today! My only complaint was it was a tad difficult to navigate considering stuff was everywhere. We took our 3 month old in the stroller and had no issues at all.

This is an interesting place. However it is quite pricey especially if there are several members in the family. There are both an inside and outside attractions.

Carefully curated pieces reflecting the technology and leisure of America in its love affair with transportation. Automobiles of course, but locomotives and train cars, aircraft and stage coaches too, with domestic life considered as well. Dollhouses and kitchens of the past line up ahead of the futuristic Dymaxion house, and oh, by the way, here are the tractors and combines... More

..and even Agriculture Combines . The Space is huge , the size of 4football fields..all on one level....I especially liked the cars , like the Lincoln JFK drove, and other presidential limos as well as the airplane section. Ford gave up on building airplanes after his personal friend and pilot got killed in a crash..he saw its technology advancing so... More

We were in town for a Hockey Game on MLK day and flew in early to do some sight seeing - it had been 15 years since we last visited and we were surprised on how much the museum had been updated. The jewel is both the cars and trains - but everything there is worth seeing. Ps - we... More

SUCH an informative visit, from vintage cars, campers and school bus, to heroes like Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King Jr, to vintage restaurant signs, this place covers a lot. Awesome gift shop that has varying, yet reasonable, prices of all kinds of souvenirs. Tons of parking (right next to the building, and down by Greenfield Village). One whole section... More

I visited when young and now when much older. It is a great place to see the progression of cars, trains, planes, presidential cars, dining cars, furniture and many other things. You easily spend a day here. These are original not models. JFK's presidential car. Many other president's vehicles. Lots for everyone to see.

This museum has been on my bucket list for a long time and I'm really glad I came! I recommend visiting when the weather is pleasant if possible--29 Dec was my only available day.. cold and the factory was not operating. Greenfield Village and the Rouge plant are now on my bucket list for next time. The folks at admissions... More
