Honoring the Noongar tribes and first British settlers, this heritage monument is in G.O. Edwards park in Burswood. The circle consists of several stone panels with each presenting a different theme (e.g. architecture, transport, cultural life) in the history of the Swan colony. In the middle there is a bronze plaque depicting the areas where different indigenous people lived according to Yagan (recorded in 1832).

A hidden gem designed for shade comfort and a pleasant walk. Kids playground is great and wildlife abounds. BBQs provided and table with seats too. The fountains provide some good photo opportunities.

The circle is located inside G.O. Edwards Park. The monument has a few stone blocks with carvings on them to depict the development of different areas of Perth.
