Make sure you play the correct tees for your skill level and you will have a good time. Some of the greens are overly challenging for putting, and hazards come into play on a couple if you miss the green by a couple of feet. After the round you will find very good and reasonable food and drink in Oscar... More
Have been coming to play Bella Vista for many years since it was Blackberry Patch. The course has changed hands and names. The facilities at the course are all you could ask for. Pro shop, restaurant / bar driving range, and all staffed by wonderful people. Oscar Brown's is a welcoming environment with amazing food and huge portions. Mandy and... More
Bella Vista is an 18-hole championship golf course with bent-grass throughout. An honor is that it is sanctioned as the 10th course in Michigan to receive full honors as a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. From this readers should gather that the course, meandering through about 300-acres, affords seclusion, while affording visitors a serene, isolated golf experience with great views of... More
Bella Vista GC is well maintained. Friendly staff. Course is challenging. Greens roll true; opportunities are there for the taking. Don't recommend walking. Most fairways are open; par 3s are long. Will definitely be coming back next year. Driving range, putting green and chipping area available. Recommended!!!
So long as it isn't raining! The facility is nice, and the food was fabulous, but there are not clear markers for how to get to the clubhouse from the parking lot. I walked up the back hill, just after a summer thunderstorm. It was hot, humid, and the grass was wet. I reached the top and rounded the corner... More
Just telling you that blackberry patch was changed to Bella vista golf course. I haven't been there in a while but i know they widened the fairways which to me cuts down on the challenge of the course but it should appease the masses as it was very easy to loose a lot of golf balls before
Had a chance to return to this course a year or so after first playing here. We had three foursomes that particular Saturday AM. The course was full, but speed of play was excellent. The layout, as suggested in my title, is nicely incorporated through woods and wetlands. The topography of the course allows some nice, subtle elevation changes on... More
This is one of our home town courses and it is spectacular. Tough fairways, over a lot of marsh shots and extraordinarily challenging greens. Of course, then there's Oscar Browns Tavern at the end of the day. Good bar food and adult beverages. Prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is also good.
prices on this great 18 hole course has been reduced, they also have specials available. i really enjoy playing there. the greens are very difficult, you better be able to putt.
