I really don’t want to tell anyone about this beautiful tucked away park on the south end of Charlevoix....I want it all for myself. But, there is enough beach along Lake Michigan for everyone to enjoy, and it’s so worth taking the time to explore....More

Beautiful wild nature park, with some shores at lake Michigan. Places to park trailers and camping, small infrastructure to the tourism. The Fisherman's Island itself is a small portion of land 300 ft from the shore. Amazing to stop the boats in the lake and...More

We made a point to stop here for some rock collecting. It was definitely worth the stop! We found some great rocks and enjoyed the beach even when the snow flurries started!

First Time visiting this gem. In 37 years of searching I finally found a petoskey stone on their beach. The camp grounds are rustic and inviting. Quiet and peaceful place to vacation or take a day trip

This park is right near a cement factory but do not let that stop you. Water is crystal clear, the camp sites are varied from on the shore to deep in the woods.

Lots of rocks. Searched for some petoskey and charlevoix stones. Not too sure I found any but still had a nice time walking along the shore and seeing crawfish that came in with the waves

We live here so haven’t tried to get a camp site in August, but either North or South are equal! South also has a stream running into Lake Michigan and has a better view of sunsets. A lot of deer and an occasional bear... More
