Beautifully-designated space for exploring sound & nature. The Sound Garden was easy to find and parking was plentiful, albeit a slight walk (before the entrance). Access was facilitated by a path & bridge along the lake. The views are lovely. The crosswalk is no longer well-marked and could be safer with stronger markings & signage with flashing light to remind motorists to slow down. And this is a School Zone, too! The plaques are missing and some of the equipment is worn, missing, or damaged. The gardens are beautiful, but the composter needs updating. We love the concept and recommend refreshing the garden with student and community volunteers and a fundraiser if needed.

We were driving through the area and saw this on Trip Adviser so we decided to stop and take a walk. Very cute little park. We spent about 30 minutes playing with the instruments, looking in the pond, and using the human sundial which was very accurate! It is located along a stretch with several parks and near the KISS Monument so we walked to those too. Worth the time if you are passing through.

I enjoyed visiting this little corner when I was there with my boyfriend. It's a fun quiet spot to bring your children to, with the wee stream running by with the ducks, and all the structures in the garden and explore the sounds the make. As we don't have kids yet it's a nice place to stop by next sit for a bit during your walk along the lake. Be careful crossing the road.

Hubby and I had never heard of a sound garden. We wish we had our granddaughters along to experience this fun little place. There were several unique musical "instruments" ready to be played, and everything was clean and well-kept. Kudos to whoever thought of this clever place and to the people who keep it up. It's worth 15 minutes of your time as you walk along the lakefront.

We recently just visited Cadillac and were taking a drive around the lake when we stumbled upon this gem. As we walked up, the sound of beats rumbled my body and caressed my large ear lobes with jubilant sounds. Honestly George thought that we were in Vegas and the blue man group was playing a private show!! I was then hit with the pleasant smell of herb and people were gathered in a hippy circle passing the maryJ around like it was 1968 !! Had a great time, the plants looked like they enjoyed the music as well as the ducks mating in the stream.

We parked near by and walked there and as we were approaching we heard noise of drumming sounds and it sounded very cool. We got closer to see there was a famous musician visiting the site at that time which he was a famous Rock drummer and punk drummer from way back ..he was having a great time making beats and playing . Great surprise. said just visiting from California..worth the visit

Ok park with a couple sound stations and a sun dial. Stop if you are in Cadillac but not worth going out of your way to see. My kids are older so they were not that interested. Younger kids would probably like it.

The sculptures were weathered and didn't work properly. I understand outdoor sculptures don't necessarily hold up, but this was ridiculous.

We visited in July and spent about 20 minutes exploring the free park. Children will love making music.

Local junkyards hang their old trash and we call it a sound garden?
Waste of time, big waste of space
