No crowd and the team could just spend peaceful time fishing, boating etc. Different fun than the summer time. It is quite peaceful and not quite cold out yet. So excellent time if you like it.

The Lake Erie Metropark is part of the Huiron/Clinton park system. It is easy to get to jsut east of I-75. There is both a beach and a swimming pool with a wave pool and hiking/biking/jogging trails plus beach. However, be aware that the entry...More

It's 10 bucks for a day permit. Which wouldn't be an issue if this park had something to offer. Lake Erie is contaminated with E. Coli and there are signs everywhere telling you not to swim in it. It smells awful through out the whole...More

I'm an armature. Birder and can't say enough about identifying and adding to my life list. A beautiful park to enjoy trails, nature, sun and fun!
