This state park allows 4 legged friends to vacation with you! The north side of the beach is designated for dogs. Clean and quiet this is a nice spot to relax and enjoy the sand and sun. The dunes are beautiful and easy to hike up. Check this place out if you're in the area.

Family took us here while we visited them this summer. It was great that we could all enjoy a day at the Lake and bring the dog with. The Dog area was great. It was not to crowded and the entrance fee was not expensive at all for a day at the lake. We all had a great time! I... More

We camped here this past weekend. The sites are generous in size and most have trees. The beach is gorgeous and there is a dog beach right off of the main beach. The beach is both long and wide and you can walk all the way up to Weko beach if you like. Lots of space for everyone to swim,... More

Its less than a 90 min drive from Chicago. We visited the Warren Dunes on the Memorial day weekend, we were there for half a day. Plenty of easy parking inside makes it very easy to get to the beach and hte dunes. The dunes are pretty high, and beach is clean and the water is great. Lots of families... More

We took the family to Warren Dunes in late May and nearly had the beach to ourselves. The kids had a blast climbing the dunes and when everyone was good and hot, Lake Michigan awaited. The sand is what you would want, but not what you would expect, from a public beach: clean, feet-friendly, and near perfect for building sand... More

The campground is nice but the sites are close together. The off season was great! Nice trails through the woods, easy access to the dunes.

It's a beautiful state park and we come here at least twice a summer. There was an occasion late summer when my daughter went off exploring with her friend to walk to the popular clay pit area. She stepped on something, jagged bottle or rock, not sure. The first aid workers were very helpful and provided help for the time... More

Climbing the dunes was fun! The swimming at the beach was closed due to wind conditions on the day we were at the State Park, but we still had fun.

Lots of parking, lots of sand, lots of fresh Lake Michigan water! The concession stand is pricey, but yummy. Restrooms Are always clean and in good repair when we go. The real treasure is the off season foe fall colors, sledding, mushroom hunting and hiking.
