we were not given a map of the property layout, so by trial and error found out how to get to waterpark without going outside. I was very disappointed in the rooms, especially for the cost. they were "decorated" but not very functional. sparsely furnished. one small chest for the TV, one small table with 2 chairs. No place to put luggage, except on the floor. Bathroom floor was exceptionally cold, only 2 sets of towels for 4 guests, only 1 bathrobe, no microwave only a refrigerator. only glass glasses provided, so if you have small children, BEWARE. No extra towel rack to hang wet clothing/towels. environmentally conscious room, but not user friendly. Had to use room key to turn on lights and heat. Also no instructions for thermostat, so we froze. Black out/privacy curtains had holes, so light still came thru. bed mattresses and linen was extremely comfortable. my grandchildren are 8, 9 & 10 and they were bored with the waterpark after only a few hours. Then they discovered the arcade. What a rip off. They use a debit card system and charge you $1 for the card with a minimum purchase of $10. most of the games were $1.00, a few $2. Cost me $60 in the arcade and they only won enough points to get some penny candy and other carnival junk. So avoid at all costs. We've been to waterparks in Wisconsin Dells, Great wolf lodge, and other hotels. I Do not rate this very high, considering the costs. Maintenance was lacking in public places (dirty bathrooms, locker rooms, stuff floating in water, etc), so I can imagine what germs one is exposed to. Be sure to shower afterwards, as I was informed by one staff members that there had been problems with the chemicals. daily locker rentals are from $5 to $11, so day users keep their belongings on any available surfaces, leaving NO place to sit. Good luck. We won't be back.
