Great service from staff. Crowds were annoying.

We spent Christmas weekend skiing with our grandsons and their parents. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Some Nice runs, decent snow, and after the first Morning in Ski school, both boys (8 and 4) were on the liftster and green runs with us. A Great family outing!

I am a new skier at an older age; I had concerns with finding the perfect instructor who would be able to be patient and communicate effectively with me. I am pleased to have been paired with Jim Cavenaugh - he did an amazing job of explaining exactly what I needed to do to be a successful skier! I skied... More

Family went up for the holidays to do some skiing. The process for rentals was much smoother than other places we've been, and the staff for fitting us was very friendly. When my younger son found that he didn't like skiing much after one run, they gladly refunded his entire rental. The runs are good for a midwest ski area,... More

As part of the hotel package, this place was decent enough. A lift ticket here buys you a lift ticket at Boyne Highlands. The ski village and hotel is probably what makes this place a destination. We were there during a peak time, between Christmas and New Years but the lines weren't long and/or non existent at some of the... More

My husband and I drove to Boyne Mountain for a 3 night weekend in December 2016. We stayed at the Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa (see separate review) and did not leave the property all weekend! The resort is set up like a mini town, which is quaint and adorable. Since we went during Christmas-time, everything was wonderfully decorated and... More

Boyne is a great place to ski. The kids love the convenience of this mountain. Lots of different terrain and levels of skiing and snowboarding. The cafeteria is large but crowded. My only complaint was that they booted us out of the cafeteria because we had our own snacks. We ate the cafeteria food as well, but they didn't care.... More

Our family of three people went to Boyne Mountain for the first time this year for 3 days to do some pre-Christmas skiing and it was great. The staff was very helpful and friendly (thanks, Cory), the rental equipment was very good, the ski instruction was top notch (thanks, Todd Crawford!) and the slopes / trails were great for Michigan.... They have a great hill to learn to ski and it is free. Their ski school is top notch. The hill is small enough to not get lost or to let teens ski in groups without adult. But large enough to have diversity. Nice place for weekend skiing. A little boring for a week lone ski vacation or if you... More

Very reasonable and family to not having family enjoyable. So much options that all family types would enjoy the beauty and amenities. Especially activity wise
