I read the OLD reviews of this zoo when we got home and I thought, this place must have really improved. I thought it was great, animals in cages but they all looked healthy and happy. I believe you should visit for yourself and see...More

Now, if the newer reviews were positive why did you choose to focus on the negative report? This park is delightful. I go every year and I drive over an hour to get there. It sure beats the Detroit zoo for atmosphere. A zoo is...More

Cute animals, the kids loved it. Big enough to feel like a large zoo but small enough our little kids could walk all of it. Gift shop was reasonably priced. Lots of feeding stations where you purchase and toss in food in which makes the...More

I am torn about this place. First, the zoo was very clean with employees about cleaning. The animals were well fed. It took about an hour to go through the zoo and you could wander for as long as you like. We went in Oct....More

My wife and I went here for a relaxing day of leisure during the summer. This was our first visit. And it was much better than we expected! Not the largest zoo, but very quiet and relaxing...we enjoyed the bears, tigers and lions! The price...More

I live nearby but had never visited this place until last week. We took our 2 year old and it was perfect for her to see so many animals up close! And she loved the petting farm area and ended our visit with some playtime...More

The zoo has animals that people can pet and a bird exhibit in which you feed the birds and they land on you. They even have a reindeer which you can get a picture with from black Friday to Christmas. I adopted an animal for...More

As a long-time member of several metro zoos I always enjoy getting to the smaller places. Wilderness trails is a pleasant, mostly shaded zoo with a surprising variety of animals which seemed well adjusted to people around them. As usual most prefer to sleep in...More

I have 3 grandchildren I would like to bring ages 9,5,&2. Is this zoo suitable for them or too small for the 9 year old?

Was just there today and the enclosures are sooooo small for some of those animals. Yet you have the space for larger enclosures. Very sad. The Bears are sitting on concrete and have zero grass or natural environment. Small lion and wild cat enclosures. Monkeys sit on chain link fencing. I don't understand how this promotes a natural environment.

I didn't find the cages small for the most part but there is no attempt to make a habitat that is like "home" for the animals.

How come your enclosures for the animals are so small? It's all over FB, it is really animal abuse! We see the pictures, very sad, don't you think?
