We have been here with family. Not great but not bad. Many of the good beaches in this area seem to be private.

Stony beach is aptly named - very stony on the beach and into the water. Nice beach to swim at and just relax. Very little wave action. Lots of people and small children. No place to park unless you are a resident.

Great in the summer, sandy beach, clear water, not overcrowded, not too wavy. I stayed at Woods Hole for work for 2 weeks and it's great to have a beach in working distance.

MBL beach open to Falmouth sticker holders, small parking lot sheltered from strong southwesterlies. Get there early for a super Sandy beach that goes out forever.

Yes! Parking is hard to find though. I suggest biking or walking.
