This small drawbridge on Water Street seems to up and down frequently during the daylight hours. We were lucky to see it go up and down during each of our 2 trips. The whole process does not take long. It's cool!😎

How often do you see a draw bridge. You can eat in restaraunt and watch it. And watch the boats go through it.

The likelyhood of seeing it work probably goes way up in the summer- we did not see it We saw it walking around Woods Hole trying to get info about the Institute. Nothing special unless you have never seen one.

It's not something to write home about, but if you've never seen a drawbridge before you should take the time to view it.

It's part of the town's past and present -- good for everyone to see the drawbridge in action and realize its importance to the business of a seaside town.

This drawbridge is very interesting. I go and visit as often as I can. I wish I lived in Woods Hole. I love it.
