NIce lighthouse, glad I had the opportunity to visit. Which the tours were available more often or the site had more to offer. Great views of the ocean, nice place to have a picnic if the weather permits.

Pretty and historic landmark. Limited parking which was OK out of season. Not well signed so get a tourist map. Drive on to other places after.

Worth a brief stop if you want some pretty views. Walk across the street and you can walk down the hills for a short bit for a great ocean view.

We walked to Nobska Lighthouse from Woods Hole what a beautiful walk along the coast and up to the Lighthouse. Stunning views at the top unfortunately it was closed for the tour as we visited out of season.

That morning we took a ferry from Falmouth to Martha's Vineyard and we could barely see this lighthouse on the shore. That afternoon we drove along the coast line until we found it. It was worth the drive.

Easy trip from Falmouth. When we arrived volunteers from lighthouse historical society gave us tour inside (built in 1600's) and history of the structure. Awesome views from top too. Cool to see beacon light/learn how it was built. Highly recommended!

Although the lighthouse is not open, there are apparently plans in direction. While the lighthouse itself is very picturesque, the real gem is the location. Cross the street (carefull!) and there is a small but touching memorial to a young woman who died in the Boston flight on 9-11. There is also a somewhat treacherous walk out on the rocks.... More

The views of Vineyard Sound and Woods Hole from this lighthouse are spectacular. The lighthouse itself is an historical site and an architectural gem.

This is a great way to get to and from Falmouth to Woods Hole. Although the lighthouse isn't open yet, this is a beautiful spot for some scenic picture-taking.

Whenever I am driving along this stretch of shore, I usually try to stop and visit this iconic lighthouse. Recently it was acquired by the Friends of Nobsca Light who have great plans to open the light and keepers house to visitors as a museum. The site is magnificent with long views of the ocean and Vineyard Sound. The white... More
