Go when they're feeding the seals and then head inside to explore. It's informational and fun. We've been loads of time and kids and adults alike enjoy.

This free aquarium is well, well staffed and very informative. An outdoor display of seals in their tank is a great draw for all ages.

My wife REALLY enjoyed it because she could take her time and read ALL the signs and information boards and try to identify the fish on display. Amazing that it is manned mostly by volunteers. A wonderful place to spend a few hours and not feel rushed or overwhelmed. And all for free!

I like the whale sounding board, we saw an outdoor 2 seal feeding. Many tricks and was laughing when he clapped his front fins like a baby on his back.

The aquarium has 2 seals in an outdoor tank. You can check feeding times and see them fed and perform some tricks as well. Inside, there are many displays of different fishes and shell fish. There is also a wonderful open touching tank where children can feel the different sea animals and ask questions about them. The aquarium is located... More

Our family enjoyed stopping by and checking out the aquarium. Lots of local Atlantic Ocean fish to check out. The harbor seals are really cool at the entrance. It's worth the stop!

Whether alone or with the kids there's history, panorama, live fish and plenty of educational help. We always enjoy this stop.

Your first stop should be to pick up a Falmouth "Discovery Map". The map has everything you need to know and how to get there. Our first stop was at the MBL Gift shop, where the proceeds support the work of young scientists. It also has a hands on exhibit that gives you an intro to marine life. Next stop... More

Recently remodeled and expanded this is a great visit for the family and especially small children. You can get up close and personal with the tanks, go back stage to see the inner workings, and reach out and touch marine animals. Fun time, doesn't cost anything. Go

Don't bother. Took us over an hour to find a parking space. For a three minute walk through the aquarium
