Williamstown is super and worth traveling to for art. You have MassMoca, the Clark, and this Williams College Museum. Their permanent collection is great.

Mostly modern art, I found this to be quaint. However, there are some classics like 2 original Remingtons! Nice way to spend an afternoon on a rainy day!
