Over 1.3 million visitor's yearly for its 17 day run. Great crafts, animal shows, equestrian events, amusement park rides and midway plus outstanding food for everyone. Especially low the New England state houses where you can sample Vermont Cheddars, Massachusetts clam fritters, Maine baked potatoes, and various other treats and micro-brew beers. Lego land for the kids and all kinds... More

For so many reasons we always attend the big e --- For food, entertainment, to spend time with other family members - we would not miss it We often visit several times during the run of the fair But usually try to avoid the most crowded of times on the weekend

Definitely will break the bank, prices outrageous especially for kids to ride the rides. Overall staff was pleasant. The bathrooms could use a make over and the grounds was a little dirty. Not bad but not good either

The food and people were good. I might go next year and take some friends. The experience was nice. Very nice festival to attend

We went with a friend of ours and we all felt that for the 100 anniversary things would have been a bit more exciting. We got discount tickets at Big Y which helped, but when you add in the $10 parking fee it's not a cheap day. The craft area seems to be getting cheesier. Our favorite foods were still... More

I've been going since I was a kid and look forward to it every year, as do my kids now. In some ways it has changed (Midway is a bit less scruffy, more international food options, more hot tubs for sale) but some things remain the same (Yankee Boy restaurant, dill pickle stand shaped like a barrel (well hidden in... There is no shortage of fun and creative food here ... or cheese for that matter! Everything we tried was delicious (bacon peanut butter pizza - weird, but it works, turducken sandwich with homemade chips, bacon mac n cheese balls, bacon cheeseburger w/ glazed donut bun... just to make a few) It's a good thing we parked a mile or... We attended the Big E in September while visiting family up in Chicopee Massachusetts. I was definitely impressed with all the different booze and attractions they had to offer. We got to see the Budweiser Clydesdale team going through town square and one of the gentleman that had put the horses up for the evening give me a ribbon out... More

The state houses, parades, midway, fair food, shows, concerts and vendors are out of this world. I have gone every year with my family since I was a child. It reminds me of the World Fairs back in the day. There is a house for each state, CT, NH, VT, MA, RI, ME. You walk through each house and learn... More

Always a great time at the Big E but I really thought for the 100th anniversary there would be more excitement. Thanks goes to Grand Ville Cheese for the best mac and cheese ever. Thanks goes to Millies for the best pierogies, best dogs and great people. Thanks goes to Vermont Sausage to a great product and great folks. Boos... More
