As we were there first thing, there was virtually nobody else about! We walked from the parking lot along the path to the entrance and then took the trail by the side of the marsh, which was busy with birds flitting around over the reeds. The path turns to sand when you reach the dunes, so it is a good... More

We have been coming to Sandy Neck for over 20 years, and yes it can be rocky in places. Sandy Neck is a barrier beach that was formed over 5,000 years ago and fronts the Great Salt Marsh on the backside of the dunes. The Great Salt Marsh is the second largest salt marsh on the east coast. Sandy Neck... More

Lots of rocks on the beach. Hard to get to the waters edge. Enjoyed the day despite the rocks because it was a picture perfect day.

This beach was beautiful. We stopped for only a few hours before heading home. It was rocky, but loved to walk the beach. It was peaceful and breathtaking.

It was late when we got there, so dark was descending fast. It was my first time there, and I realized how much I had missed. We plan to return....

Best seen from the water. You can see this from any of the charter boats out of Barnstable Harbor. It is just beautiful.

Nice beach to spend some time looking for beach glass. Ample parking, newly replaced. Also was an easy bike ride from the High Pointe Inn.

We take our Jeep out here beyond where the main body of people hang out but it's the same view and the same water! When the tide goes out on Caep Cod Bay you are facing a magnificient coastal plan. You will however have to where to swim until the tide rises once again. Have no fear. It always does!
