During the holiday season I was gifted with tickets to enjoy The Fiddler on the Roof! I was visiting from out of state and have enjoyed this production time and time again throughout the years. THIS artistic masterpiece has reset the bar at a new level! Each of the actors was brilliant...Period! The seating made it possible for all in... More

I went to Fiddler on the Roof musical at the New Repertory Theater last night. Moving acting, excellent voices, great use of stage and light. Kids continued talking about it all the way back home! The only bad thing last night was the weather outside! Will definitely watch for additional productions of this excellent quality theater!

Even the seats on the far ends are not bad. Very professional productions with great acting and creative sets with a great variety of offerings. Its proximity to several restaurants (Branch Line, Casa de Pedro, Panera) is perfect (2 are in the same building as the theater). Support this great local company!

You don't have to travel out of town to get great theater. New Rep is one of the area's best assets, and I wonder why more people don't know about it. The seats are comfortable, the shows professional, parking is free, and you can eat at Branch Line before! They put on innovative shows, particularly in the Black Box Theater,... More

My husband and I have had a subscription to the New Rep for ages. It is the highlight of our date nights. I think the main theater seats 250 people, so every seat is a great one. The productions are not just good regional theater. They are good theater. Some productions are in the Black Box which has maybe 50... More

Beautiful theater with an easy parking, but that was not the reason we returned for the third time this season! Interesting plays, spectacular performances and welcoming ushers: perfect recipe for the great evening! A real gem among Boston's truly rich theatrical choices!

New Repertory Theater in Watertown, MA has small auditoria for local theater productions. Parking is free in an adjacent garage and travel is easy by car from most areas north of Boston. The theater in which we sat had no bad seats; even at the very top sound and sight were good. We saw "The King of Second Avenue," a... More

First, the New Repertory space is wonderful - no seat is very far from the stage. I know it's been several years since they moved from Newton, but I hadn't been. Although their 2013-14 season sounded a little "politically correct" (Camelot, Madoff, Civil War), the productions have garnered attention and some good reviews. The actors were first rate, and we... The acting was first rate along with a set which contributed to a memorable performance. This play about the post civil war era is quite thought provoking.
