Plenty of parking Changerooms, toilets, cafe & lifeguards. Plus its a lovely looking beach to walk along with the cliffs, boulders in the water or a huge long beach to stroll along.

Great beach not far from Newcastle. It is a really nice long beach. Spectacular rock formations. There is a coffee van/cafe there but not sure of the hours. Surf club and amenities available limited hours. Plenty of free parking too. It was definitely patrolled when...More

family friendly patrolled beach, in front of surf house or go to the third creek to have the dogs off leash.

We just went for the view from the headland. Walking path access from end of Ocean Street down to a viewing place with safety fence.

This is a beautiful beach with its huge headland to the golden sand. Love the big car park with no time restriction or ticketing. Great beach with nice surf which is patrolled even at this early stage of the year. Great facilities and a nice...More

Visited this beach in May and was a lovely sunny day. at the north end of the beach is a massive red coloured headland. there is also an interesting timber shark spotting tower. The beach is patrolled, has places to get coffee.

Redhead Beach is a beautiful spot but I agree with Sofia's review. Too many dog owners are not accessing the Dog Exercise area from Cain Street and are accessing the beach from the Redhead Surf Club Car Park and Webb Park and letting their dogs...More
