The Norman Rockwell Museum although only two (2) floors is wonderful. What they have is so enjoyable to see. True American for an extremely talented individual. Norman Rockwell deserves this living monument to his many talents and works. When in Stockbridge, do not miss this attraction.

As a youngster I looked forward to The Saturday Evening Post and Boy's Life magazines with his covers. To see the gallery was like visiting a working studio more than a shrine to his art. The fly in the ointment was the sticker shock. However there was a defiite value for the money that mitigated the price. I won't be... More

I cam to see classic Rockwell and was not disappointed. There was a very informative video at the beginning and I enjoyed going over all the covers of the Saturday Evening Post. There was also painting by other artists as well. The only downside was that I hoped to see more of the original paintings. We went through the museum... More

NRM's introductory video is worth watching when you first arrive. Guides give very informative Gallery Orientation Talks at set times. There's also self-guided audio tours. It's a short walk down a paved path to his artist studio that is only open seasonally. Non-flash photography is allowed. The gift shop is very well stocked. Since the museum is in a rural... More

The museum is very extensive and well maintained. I chose to buy the headsets for more information. My child was able to do some painting as well. We learned a lot and really enjoyed the paintings!

The museum was beautiful and easy to find. I loved the tour that introduced us to Mr. Rockwell's art and explained the significance of some of his most famous pieces.

We decided to go to this Rockwell Museum since we just happened to be in the area. I have never been a Norman Rockwell fan, but I was more impressed with his work after visiting this museum. They have an introductory video that is extremely informative and well done. They also have guides, I think every hour. Not sure because... More

Very nice to some of the many works from Norman Rockwell. Many memories from the past are sure to come to you as you take in the illustrations created over the early years in the 20th century.

We have wanted to visit this museum for many years and finally being in the area we could not pass on the opportunity. The story and works of this remarkable man are displayed in all their glory. We really enjoyed the narrative presentation and the stories of some of his life's highlights and accomplishments. I think for me personally, I... More
