We went here because we had some time to kill. We did not go on the tour. It was fun sampling the different flavors. Right now they have some delicious holiday flavors. I love the eggnog one! The chocolate is vegan and gluten-free.

I have been going to Boston every year since the year I was born since my family lives there. I went to the Taza Chocolate Factory with my boyfriend as we have already seen all of Boston. The deal happened to be on groupon, so it was $12 for a tour of 2 and a free bar of chocolate and... More

Our guide Sophie was not only passionate about chocolate production but also extremely informative. This beat the pants off of the $50 Boston Chocolate Tour. Give this tour a try!

We did not take the tour as it requires an on-line reservation which I forgot to make. We decided to visit the factory anyway and pick up lots of Christmas stocking stuffers and presents as our whole family loves Taza chocolate. The cashier was wonderful, helpful, and friendly. Be prepared to navigate narrow streets with tons of bicycles, so typical... More

We took the tour on 2 September 2016. They prefer reservations but this was a last minute event and we got lucky because there was 3 of us but only two slots available but this one young lady had to cancel two of her slots, but she would have lost her money for those two so we paid her for... My cousin heard of this tour while visiting. I live here and never had heard of it. What a great surprise. In Somerville, really interesting tour with explanation of where chocolate comes from, how the roast and prepare it, and the difference among their chocolate products. There were lots of chocolate samples to try.Very enjoyable. Tiffany greeted us when we... More

Tucked away just outside Boston is an amazing chocolate factory! The tour lasts about an hour and is very comprehensive. They walk you through all the steps of chocolate production from the grower to final wrapping. The company's commitment to authentic stone ground chocolate is extensive. After the tour guests may buy chocolate on site at a discount.

It's there anything better? This is not your ordinary chocolate, though. It's natural cocoa the way they make it in South America. Stone ground, hand mixed. If you have an Amerified palate, you'll need to acclimate to reality before you really enjoy this. I can't stand the sugar dust throughout everything you eat and drink here, so this was perfect... Taza chocolate is based on traditional Mexican-style chocolate, which tends to be dark and more grainy than European-style chocolate. Not to say that it isn't nice, in fact, they're pretty tasty (salted almond was my favourite!). The tour was short but you got to see the raw materials and a bit of the manufacturing room. The tour guide clearly loves... More
