My sister had visited previously (we are Aussies) and had a ball playing candle pin bowls. My family and I were present during a tournament which was fun to watch. We also enjoyed a drink at the cosy bar, chatting to the bartender and other customers. A really lovely group of locals who had huge smiles and genuine natures.

Such a cool scene...candle pin bowling and a party! And right in the sweet little village of Shelburne Falls. Have a cocktail, listen to some fine music, whether from a live band or from the well-stocked jukebox! And get serious about your bowling...you'll be in good company.

Fantastic place for first time candlepin bowling with family and friends. Small historic place with great drinks, friendly staff and customers. All around great time and throwback to a simpler time. Can't wait to go back.

Love the bowling alley, the father/son owners are delightful, the drinks are cheap and strong, the bowling is a hoot and the live music nights are legendary. I've brought my 5 year old niece here for a fun game of bowling on a rainy day and had adult birthday gathering as well, good times had by all.

Had a great time candle pin bowling for an hour with a group of four. We called ahead of time to see if there were lanes open just in case because this spot can be very popular. This is a one of a kind experience. You get to bowl in a bowling alley that has been in existence for over... More

Down an alley to the alley! We just spent 2 hours bowling - eight of us ranging in age from 10-71. It was the best family fun! There are only 8 lanes. It's like stepping back in time. The staff is friendly. It's clean. No smoking. Soda, snacks, and good draft beer on tap. We were able to reserve the... More

Tucked into an alley of the old mill village of Shelburne Falls -- now converted to artisan and foodie coops and, galleries and 2nd hand book shops as well as restaurants and the incredible Salmon Falls Gallery -- is this hierloom of old timey fun. Candlestick bowling pins and a really old timey alley. OH what an unexpected pure giggle.... More

We stopped in for some bowling on a Saturday afternoon around 2 and had the place to ourselves. The owner was SO friendly and accommodating. My kids had never bowled before and I wasn't sure if they would like it. THEY LOVED IT. It's candlepin or candlestick bowling and the little balls were perfect for them!! The place started filling... Have a drink at a cute little bar with local and friendly people while you wait for a lane. Or bowl first and then have a drink-- this place is a classic. Original wood ball returns in this 100 year old candlepin classic alley make it a great place to make memories! Do stop in and check it out. Very... More
