Great little beach for kids. Shallow water with minimal waves.

Nice sandy beach with very attentive lifeguards. I wish the port-o-potties were serviced a little more often though.

Peggoty Beach is a lovely town beach in Scituate, MA. You need a sticker for you car to park there. It is a small beach of sand and rocks. There are houses on stilts at the top of the beach but the sandy area is open to people. Lots of kids playing in the sun, sand and water. To the... More

Delightful, beautiful beach with great view of third cliff and that entrance to the North and South Rivers. The beach has been very crowded the last few weekends and holidays. very few (4) parking spaces for non resident vehicles.

Peggotty Beach is a small sandy cove, especially good for families with young kids. It's not a big teen draw. Life guards are on duty July & August. There is adequate parking for those with a town beach sticker. Non-sticker parking is very limited. The parking lot has 2 portapotties and an open shower. The beach can be seaweedy after... More

If you have a pass and no other place to go this is a nice beach. The facilities have been upgraded (I use the term loosely - means they got a new portapotty). But the view can't be beat. It does get crowded and depending on tides/moons it can be a tough spot to find a good place to spread... More

Peggoty is a small beach that gets very crowded because its close to the harbor. Lots of parking and it now has outdoor showers. Need a Town of Scituate Beach Sticker to park in the lot, no ;arking on the side streets.

Small beach with lots of soft sand, rocks for kids to climb and go crabbing on. No bells and whistles here just a port a potty and an occassional visit from the ice cream truck. You can also rent paddle boards from a small stand in the parking lot. Only a few public parking spots need a beach sticker otherwise.... More

If you are visiting Scituate, you will need to go to the Town hall to obtain a visitor's pass to enjoy any of Scituate's beaches.
