Nice place to relax

We stopped here for a few hours to rewind. It was the perfect place to let the kids run around and have fun. Some of the most beautiful rocks on the beach. Enjoy!

First I have to say that we do more than 10 beachs in cape cod and we finish with this dump because of the rating on trip adviser. We was there in motocycle and all the other beach let us see the place before we pay, they have discount for motocycle or its free because you dont even take a... More

The beach was beautiful. There are different colored rocks everywhere. We were here in June 2015 and it was not crowded at all. The water was freezing, but we enjoyed sitting on the beach watching the ocean & soaking up the sun.

The beach is huge but incredibly rocky. We took walking trail #1 - beware: it's mostly through ankle-deep sand & very difficult to walk on. Okay place to stop & look at the water in the off-season, but I wouldn't want to sit out on the rocky beach or swim here.

Chechpkmthe Barnstable Harbor tidal charts. This beach has great, huge sandbars at low-tide. Kids love the warm water, over the sand. They will also love the tidal pools that form, with many sea critters to identify! There are also 7 miles of well-marked Dune trails, a great work-out, with soft sand on the trails, beautiful scenery!

We were drawn here because we were told you could find sand dollars. When we arrived that was not the case. You may be able to find some in low tide, but it wasn't low tide when we were there. This is anything but sandy there are rocks everywhere, make sure to keep your shoes on!

This beach is loaded with rocks. This is on the bay side of Cape Cod and I've noticed that the water here is quite calm compared to the open ocean side. I like waves so this is not something I enjoy but if you have toddlers or people in your party that don't like waves then this might fit the... More
