The walking trails are special. Watch for ticks and check young ones especially. That said - walking amongst tall sweeping sand dunes is very refreshing. The water here can be rather clear depending on time of year. Off road permit required to drive on it...More

too crowded. we had to look for parking for a long time, then had to leave as there was no room to hang out on the beach.

If your a rock or stone collector this is the beach to go to. We went at low tide and each collected a bag full. My sister collected the large ones for her garden and I collected the smaller ones for decorating around the house....More

Yes as long as you are there when the park is open. I was there after hours and the bathrooms were locked.

There is parking nearby and yes there is a small fee. Closest free parking would be much father out.

Yes- along as they are leashed- during off season though I see plenty of dogs off leash
