Excellent collection of glassware! Really enjoyed the onsite glass blower who talked while demonstrating the art of making a glass pumpkin! He had a wonderful sense of humor.

The sandwich glass museum tells the history of the famous Sandwich glass. There were displays that explained the development and process of coloring glass. There were multiple examples of the changing designs and types of glass as tastes and technology changed with time. There is also a 20 minute demonstration on glass blowing every 1 hour. A definite must see.

Excellent place to stop and browse. Going this time after season they did not have the inventory they had a few years ago but I still managed to find plenty to purchase. Really great place to visit and the staff is very friendly as well.

This museum has a lovely collection of glass objects through the ages, and provides a most interesting account with photos of the men and machines of Sandwich who made the area so famous for its glass making techniques and glass objects. The glass blowing show itself should not be missed; it was most interesting

A must see on your visit to Sandwich! Endless rooms of lovely glass; plus local history; paintings of historic people in the area; and one of the BEST hand blown glass demonstrations I have seen (comparable to that in Virginia). The artisan gives a full description as he is creating a masterpiece! Great pieces of jewelry and other items make... More

What an interesting experience visiting the Sandwich Glass Museum was. In addition to seeing a great collection of glass produced by the long-closed Glass Works, there was a glass blowing demonstration and more about the history of the Glass Industry in Sandwich. There was also an exhibit of some of the the artistic glass being produced today. I am only... More

We went to the glass making museum on the last day of our visit to Cape Cod and glad that we did. Saw glass making and were given the detailed story of the glass making in Sandwich while the young man was making the glass. The museum is very interesting and we did not realise how many types of glass... More

I happen to love sandwich glass and have several pieces so this was a must stop for me while we were driving around Cape Cod. Even my husband who wasn't into it as much as me enjoyed watching the glassblower and touring the exhibits. So many rooms of such beautiful glass objects. I don't think you have to be an... More

I've been to this type of museum before and it's ok. . . well my wife likes them, but this place was worth the $9 admission and then some. A young glass blower who was both engaging and entertaining made a glass vase while we watched. He encouraged us to ask questions and for me this was the highlight of... More
