Fantastic day on the open sea with these majestic creatures. We saw at least a dozen whales on our trip. If you want to feel small in the world...have a whale swim close to your boat. Simply amazing! There was also a girl filming a...More

Our family takes the whale watching tour every few years and we're never disappointed. We have always seen lots of whales and are impressed with how clean, efficient, and well-run the dolphin fleet boats are and how knowledgeable and friendly the staff is. I highly...More

This three hour tour kept us close to the beach, but that's where we saw Finback whales up close. Magnificent HUGE creatures. The captain kept us close. While there we also saw a Minke and a Mother/Calf Humpback. We were able to get great close...More

We really enjoyed our tour! The guide was very informative without being boring. You can tell she loves what she does. We did not see tons on whales, but the humpbacks we did see really gave a great show! We also saw some fin whales.

I'm writing this on my way back from seeing Humpback and Fin whales out in the sea to the north of Provincetown. The boat is comfortable and we'll run, with outside space for all and a snack bar and clean toilets. But leaving that aside,...More

Don't miss the lecture from the naturalist on the upper deck on the ride out. We saw lots of whales, some of them very close-up. Such an exciting adventure!

The captain knew how and where to find the whales! When we happened upon a group of whales, they had no problem allowing us to spend extra time watching because they were so amazing to see!

Hi people - a couple of questions I hope you can help with, please. We are visiting from the UK. 1. We are staying near Yarmouth / Barstable 21/22 May. Are best to get a tour from Barstable or drive round to Provincetown? Do we get more time on the Banks from Provincetown? 2. Should we book in advance, or are there plenty of spaces? (Once tried to do a trip from Gloucester in 2012, but was cancelled because of tail end of a hurricane coming up the coast). Thank you in anticipation!

Yes go to Provincetown. After the trip there are lots of shops to walk around and nice restaurants. We booked, but some people turned up and were lucky to get a seat on the day. It's the same price so you might as well book... More

We are coming the second week of August, which time of the day is the best tour to take to see the whales? Was considering mid afternoon 1:30 or the 5:30 p.m. tour. Thank you.

We went on the 10am cruise which I understand is better because the waters and winds are usually calmer! If you have the opportunity try to do the morning cruise!

we were there in October and saw hundreds of whales. I had never seen so many. that area is a rich feeding grounds for whales so chances are usually pretty good. but contact the fleet and ask.
