One must remember Cape Cod is in the Atlantic ocean. Provincetown is at the tip. This is very far out in the ocean. No matter what time of the year the waves are awesome. We walked the beach in October for an hour and a...More

What constitutes a 'beautiful' beach? All the adjectives I can think of certainly wouldn't describe this one. It certainly hasn't got good dog owners or beach police as I found old dog poo on the sand!!!

Though it was a chilly, windy October day, we couldn't resist taking a ride to Race Point Beach. It is an absolutely stunning beach! All we could see was sand and sea. Truly breathtaking!

Just a stone's throw from the Race Point Lighthouse is this terrific beach. You can walk the shore and see the trawlers out at sea from miles away. Sunset and sundown are absolutely fantastic. Sea glass ans animal shells was ashore. We saw seals and...More

Swim in summer or stroll the long stretch of sand on a sunny but chilly fall day and you get a good taste of the charms of a New England beach. Lots of photo ops. Easy to find near downtown Provincetown.

We stopped by this beach to watch the sun set. It's a beautiful place for that! I imagine during the summer it's a fabulous place to spend the day. There is also a bike path that passes by this beach which would make for a...More

Great area and beach to explore on the tip of the Cape. Make sure to stop at the Visitor's Center to take some pictures from the observation deck before driving, biking or walking down to the beach.

I think it is a bit early for the blue mat. It would probably be better to wait until May 15 or so. There are two places I think the mat may be placed, one is behind the toilets and changing building where there is a... More

You do need a saltwater license. Rangers are not always helpful, especially the seasonal ones. You will pass Blackbeard's Bait and Tackle in Eastham on your way to PTown. Stop in and ask Paul what they 're catching and what... More
