nice staff

The staff at the visitors center was really knowledgeable and amiable. There's a great view of the ocean and beach from the center. They also offer free tours of the dunes!

Was a nice day to go to the center for the magnificent view of the dunes, and the open ocean. We arrived to friendly, smiling faces who offered us binoculars to go upstairs to see if we could find whales! They are alive and well, and frolicking off Race Point! What a surprise and delight to see these beautiful animals.... More

Stopped unintentionally on the bike trail to use the restroom. Clear day nothing but endless blue skies and blue ocean. Super nice little bookstore too.

Another one of the fine visitor centers on the cape. Small inside, but great views from the deck. Well worth the stop.

This was really a surprise as we stumbled over it while looking for the beach. It was well worth the time spent and very informative.

We stopped on the way to our daily hikes. Run by the National Parks Service. There were short films in the theater, as well as displays on the history and geography of the area. Good views from the observation deck. Merchandise for sale was cheap, as it was nearing the end of their season.

There is a second floor deck with commanding views of the area, from Provincetown and Cape Cod Bay to the oceanside beaches. But the visitor center is low on things to see. Rangers seemed helpful, and there was a video about whaling and the lifesaving service. There were a gift shop and bathrooms.
