This lovely structure encompasses a surprise and is a must for any Provincetown tourist..... As Provincetown residents, we visit the library every time we have visitors. It has a special quality and everyone enjoys the visit.

There is an elevator in the library if you don't want to climb the stairs. The view is wonderful! Be sure to explore the street on the left side of the library. The sculptures are fantastic!

Always find libraries helpful for this technology-challenged guy, but the PTown library takes first prize, as far as I'm concerned......AND the second floor sailing vessel is not to be missed, along with the view up there....

Whether you are into libraries and reading books or not it's definitely worth a stop in for the history and visual! No dogs allowed though!!

Beautifully restored, this library has a good selection of materials plus access to the entire cape library system for inter-library loans. There's a schooner on the second floor (yes, really!) that tourists love to visit. I love to read looking out at the bay.
