Very good tower to climb as the step and ramp combination makes it easier to reach the top and for people to pass each other on the way up or down. Good views from the top and interesting museum at the bottom worth spending some time looking around.

Went to Provincetown as staying in Hyannis and this along with the ton itself was a real find. Museum is intresting and the walk up the tower was not as hard as some as its not all steps but includes inclined walk ways View was outstanding as it was a fine day Cost $12 each was reasonable and all in... This museum traces the history of Provincetown, starting with the Pilgrims on up. Fascinating displays, including a large-scale cutaway model of the Mayflower, teach so much and in so much detail. A must-see for fans of history. The tower provides the best view of the end of the Cape, but be prepared for a LOT of stairs if you decide... More

I spent a half hour in the museum - no time to climb the tower which is ugly! Excellent art works and Mayflower presentation

Decided to drive out to the end of Cape Cod and we enjoyed this so much. The tallest solid granite structure in the US is something to see....AND...to climb to the top. The views from the top is something you will just say...WOW! The museum is also most informative and really great exhibits. Then driving through the "narrow" streets of... More

This monument to the pilgrims and their first stopping point in P-town. Most people don't realize they landed here first. Good view on a sunny day!

Once we climbed the monument which was rather easy to do,(Ramps instead of several steps. Very easy on bad knees) the view at the top was breathtaking. Clean and well maintained.

It's free and a beautiful view on the harbor. Nice standing in a place of history. Taking in Provinceton and breathing in the salt air. We had a great day for the weather.

Climbed to the top and the views are breathtaking. Could see Boston from here(after someone pointed it out to us). Museum was interesting too. 116 steps and 60 ramps to get to the top. Ramps make it an easier walk up than just stairs. Just do it!

The monument is an easy walk from downtown Provincetown. Really enjoyed the museum - where I learned quite a bit about the Pilgrims that I had not know before. Much more extensive than I had imagined and nicely presented. The real treat, however, was to go climb the tower. It looks imposing, but really was not that hard compared to... More
