I chose seats in the balcony, center. Comfortable with a great view. The theater is beautiful. Parking is near by. I will definitely return for future events

We came for the major concert of the local jazz festival, featuring Karrin Allyson and the US Army Jazz Ambassadors big band. We were blown away by the beautifully restored theater, the fine acoustics, and the great value. Not sure about parking ... we stayed at a nearby motel on Route 20 (Housatonic Ave.) and walked a half-mile into town.

This was our second visit to the Colonial Theatre, which is a grand old building. Our first visit was to attend a concert and this time to go to the opera. Our seats were in the Gallery section, which is the 2ne balcony. Although the straight back seats got a little uncomfortable, the accoustics were excellent and views fine. We... More

Have seen several concerts here including PDQ Bach, Justin Hayward and others. Beautiful concert hall, but some seats, particularly those more to the side and upper levels are lacking in both comfort and acoustic sound reflection or quality. Unless the performer or promoter uses significant sound reinforcement and they reupholster the seats (which of course may affect sound and acoustics)... More

I recently took my granddaughter who is four, we went to go see Beauty and the Beast . It's a beautiful venue very ornate. I have been there on several occasions and all of the seats that we have had are always good views. It's not too large that you have a hard time seeing from any particular area .... More

Fabulous! There are no bad seats here and the acoustics are perfect. No wonder this theater is rated one of the ten best in the world.

High quality acting. The show was great and the seats were terrific. We were able to get 1/2 price tickets which is the way to go!

We've been attending the Berkshire Theater Group offerings for a number of years now in Stockbridge and found their productions really great. This year we took the granddaughters to see the Little Shop of Horrors at the Colonial. The theater is an restored old vaudeville theater and is really nice. The production was good with Broadway actors. I was really... More
