Having had a couple of excellent trips to Pleasant Valley we thought we would try another reserve but we were sadly disappointed on 3 counts: 1. Although there are some way markings, no distances are mentioned either on the information board at the car park...More

Gentile trails through varied terrain make for a leisurely and lovely afternoon. Fine for seniors in good shape - not too many seating spots. Not overbuilt at all, truly a wildlife sanctuary. Be sure to wear insect repellant in season - our family fondly calls...More

Wonderful selection of interconnected trails with many wildlife viewing opportunities. Most of the trails are relatively easy for hiking.

This is a lovely venue to enjoy the Berkshires - beautiful views and more varieties of birds and turtles that I ever knew existed. There are lovely walking trails and ponds and it is especially fun to visit when they are hosting a special event...More

I am a local and have visited Canoe Meadows a few times. There are some wooded trails that I usually walk through but they need a little work. It looks like they haven't been maintained this summer. The grass on the other path is getting...More
