Great little place for fresh air and hiking

One of my favorite places to clear my head and see beautiful scenery! Cute little trails all good water, cute little bridges. Great place for an easy but beautiful hike.

This preserve has lovely trails thru the woods and along ponds where one can see water fowl and wild flowers. A large hill near the entrance is also quite good for x country skiing in winter. Never too crowded , a good place to take in the peaceful Berkshire woodland environment.

What a beautiful, unspoiled spot in the Berkshires, Must be experienced. Former property of Oliver Wendell Holmes it is like taking a step back in time.

Beautiful trails, wooden walkways, easy, but can be along walk, depending on trails you choose.. Trails to the right side were our kids favorites, trails to the left, (or going straight when you enter) are longer. Really good for little ones, (or seniors) took our kids when they were young often. NO DOGS, and is why we don't go as... More

Beautiful Wildlife Sanctuary! Easy to walk and navigate with teens. Very picturesque it feels like you're in another world. My family and I enjoyed it so much and walk on a beautiful day with no humidity..

Good views and well maintained. I believe this place is just another of the many politically correct areas where the politics spoil the experience. But to those who like a nice walk, it is nice. On the more positive side there are fields and meadows right off the main trails where you may believe that this is a special place.Compared... More

A beautifully maintained natural sanctuary for local wildlife. Have been here several times. Have seen all kinds of wildlife, including beavers and otters!

Great place to check out trails, animals, birds, trees, beautiful nature at it's best. If you'd like to go bring a snack and some water and hit the trails and go for a nice walk and enjoy some nature. Been going since I was a kid..

Having had a couple of excellent trips to Pleasant Valley we thought we would try another reserve but we were sadly disappointed on 3 counts: 1. Although there are some way markings, no distances are mentioned either on the information board at the car park or path signs. 2. A lot of the paths are very overgrown. This would not... More
