This is a hidden gem of the Berkshires. The energy of the performers is very moving and the theater is small enough that there doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house.
We just saw "West Side Story" and the choreography, vocals, and...More
We’ve attended the “10X 10” plays in March for a few years. Always fun and well performed. Also, “Pirates of Penzance”, “Royal Family of Broadway”, and “West Side Story”.
All very entertaining and well staged.
We’ve never been disappointed.
We just returned from our annual trip to the Berkshires and saw two plays at the Barrington Stage Company. First we saw "The Cake" at the St. Germain Theater, a small intimate theater with comfortable seating and good viewing no matter where you are seated....More
Had great time. The theater is small but very nice. The play was very good and we were impressed with the quality of acting. We lucked out, the night we went there was a discussion panel with the actors. So we stayed longer and got...More

Having watched Barrington grow over the years it is always wonderful to discover new things they are doing
While we don’t always love every production we do admire their energy and professionalism
The casting is usually first rate as are the sets and costumes
Earlier this week, my husband, grandson and I attended a performance of “The Royal Family of Broadway” and were truly delighted! This was the first time for my husband and me at this theater, but we hope to return. The cast was exceptional and the...More

Eat on North has a nice variety of options, including well prepared innovative "comfort foods." Good wine and beer selections, creative cocktails, raw bar. Really good food for all age groups. Can get loud when they have music which cannot be turned off in dining room.
Star of India, no ambiance to speak of, but really decent Indian food at very modest prices.
Mission Bar and Tapas, interesting choices, good wine and beer selections all at moderate prices. Gets quite crowded and noisy, but not a problem pre-theater.
Methusalah is a hip bar, creative cocktails, excellent food, very noisy when more than two people are there. Some find seating extremely uncomfortable, but the largely youthful crowd doesn't care.
