Fun, New park to relax, eat, or enjoy events

Ever since the park opened, I've made it a point to bring dinner there from local restaurants. The lighting they have there reminds me of a town Square in a cute European city. A... read more

I love the restoration of Pulaski Park. There is new grassy square for picnics and concerts. There is great, varied, seating. The little chairs and tables aren't not accessible to me — not strong enough to reliablly hold someone of my size (wish they were — I'd love to write there)— but there are other picnic style tables with benches,... Ever since the park opened, I've made it a point to bring dinner there from local restaurants. The lighting they have there reminds me of a town Square in a cute European city. A lot of creative, green design went into the layout, variety of sitting choices, and greenscaping. There is even a plug to charge your electronic device. Go... More

Beautiful little park in the middle of Northampton; great place to sit with locals playing chess, have an ice cream, just enjoy a sit-down in the shade. Lots of benches, nice water walk. Pretty place to relax for a bit.

We're probably biased because we're locals, but we couldn't be happier with the park renovation. It's a small park in a little city, but it's great for hanging around and people watching. It now features movable chairs and tables at the front so you can make the setup that's right for you. it has a new fountain, a large grassy... More

Wow. wow. wow! The new and vastly improved park is eye catching, pragmatic in classic style and an aesthetic marvel. One has to walk through if for the full effect. It feels larger and the water features and goshen stone are stunning. I have been going to the park for over 30 years. Now I will go more often!

Tiny and noisy, Pulaski Park isn't like a real park. It's a place to rest between things you might be doing in the great town of Northampton. There are a few benches. A few stray jugglers sometimes appear. But, it's clean and safe.

Currently it is a shady spot for sketchy people. Should change dramatically over the next few years as they overhaul it.

Northampton city government hired a Cambridge architecture firm to re-design the 1-acre park, and is in the process of applying for grants to fund the renovation. At some point in the next few years, it'll probably be a sea of mud, and then it'll finally be beautiful. It's a nice place to sit and eat lunch in the summer, but... More

Nice green area in the middle of town. Great spot to sit outside for lunch if you work or are visiting downtown, but hard pressed to call it a "park." More like a green Washington Square.

Every Friday night in the summer this park has some great bands. You see kids with hula hoops & families just sitting or standing maybe dancing to the band. Every week is a different one & it's free.
