Lovely setting. Good for a walk or a more strenuous hike. I take my dogs and they love having a dip in the lake.

I take daily walks in the Webster Nature Reservation without ever repeating the exact same path. There are many, many trails with interesting rock formations, varied vegetarian, and interesting landscapes. You can walk alongside creeks, climb big rock formations and stretch atop of the rocks,...More

I have walked this reservation for 30 years. Wonderful and varied habitat. Be sure to go on both sides of the tracks. The Webster area was an old estate with the relics of very elaborate English type garden. Great rock climbing, always something new.

An urban oasis bisected by Hammond Pond Parkway and the Green Line I've found no solitude here! Parking is best at the back of the Mall by the pond but you must contend with mall employee parking year 'round and holiday shoppers packing the place...More

Summer time everything is green. Multiple paths wander through the area touching on Hammond Pond covered with lily pads, geese and ducks. Watch out for the occasional trolley that moves through the Reservation at 15 - 20 mph. Fall generates lots of color, but you...More
