History and incredible scenery rolled into one. A must see when visiting Marblehead. I love coming here to witness the sunrise with Marblehead Neck and the lighthouse in the background but it is delightful any time of day. Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the surrounding views. Be sure to bring your camera or you will regret it.

We enjoyed our drive here. The fall colors were wonderful. Great views of the coast. Lot of colorful boats and houses. I imagine in summer is quiet lovely as well.

A great place to spend some hours on a sunny day. The view is phenomenal - the ocean, the boats, the seagulls. One can sit or walk around . it is an easy and nice walk. Mostly recommended.

Be sure to visit this lovely little park. It offers perfect views of the main harbor, the lighthouse, the Neck, as well as Little Harbor. Go any time .. sunrise is special with the sun coming up between the islands that guard the harbor. I have loved this place for years.

I have been here many times on everything from casual strolls, field trips with my kids, and even professional modeling shoots. This location provides stunning views and gorgeous scenery of the ocean, as well as a great deal of history and old charm. Bring a jacket though-- it can be quite windy!

We didn't stay long as it was chilly and the entrance is a bit hidden but cool history to learn and it wasn't busy. It's free too

Amazing view of the harbor and surrounding area. Historical Fort, too. Easy walk from Old Marblehead & great looking at the historical placards on the houses.

Walked up to the fort after supper at the Barnicle. It was a nice relaxing walk as we enjoyed reading about the history of the fort. We enjoyed walking along and looking at the harbor also, so peaceful there

Fort Sewall is a hidden gem in old town Marblehead. Going thru the narrow twisty streets, gives you a good idea of what a colonial port city looked like. The fort overlooks the Barbour and the beauty of the vistas there is breathtaking. Parking as in all ocean communities, can be challenging. You can't park at the fort, but down... More
