Ponyhenge is composed out of rocking horses placed in a circle on a bit of grassland. It has a spooky creepy appeal to it reminding me of Stephen King books. But I have seen families stopping by to take pictures and even little kids rocking on the ponies happily. I'm not sure why this attraction is popular, I did not enjoy it.
If you go - there is some limited parking space on the side of the road - just enough to stop by for several minutes, take a picture, move on and forget about it.

While it was creepy in a way, it was fun and my friend and I enjoyed seeing it. Ponyhenge is a circle of old rocking horses out in the middle of a field. We looked through the rocking horses and I found one similar to the one I had as a kid. We went out of our way to find this and I’m glad we did as we had a lot of laughs with other visitors.

Absolutely classic example of American roadside weirdness! So good. Easy to find and pull over on the side of the road for a look. You only need a 5 minute stop but it’s worth it!

We stumbled across ponyhenge without knowing it was there. It’s just a fun little circle of old toy ponies.
