We spent a beautiful day here hiking in a light snowfall. We had originally planned to snowshoe, but enough people had packed down the trails and we were able to use just crampons on our boots. This was the first trip here, but it's a...More

Got some tips from the Acadia shop and had a great day on the trails that start right at their parking lot. Great time!

We were told to go walk here while visiting the Berkshires. They have several trails; however, the parking lot is in a remote section. The trails are all uneven terrain, which is an issue for us 70-year-olds. Not safe. We ended up finding an alternate...More

If one stays in the Tanglewood area for concerts and one wants to stretch the legs to get some exercise in, go there. It is nothing special.

I didn't have much time left of my weekend in the Berkshires but I really wanted to go for a quick hike. Kennedy Park was the answer. Easy parking at the Arcadian Shop and well marked. At first I was very aware of road noise,...More

Love this park. Great trails for a "hike" with young kids. Easy parking at the Arcadian Shop, benches scattered throughout, and well-marked trails (so little ones can help navigate). Hike to one of the vernal ponds to see minnows, tadpoles, and more!

There are many different options for trails in Kennedy, and they are coded on the map for level of difficulty. There are multiple entrances, and you can always connect to other trails and loop around for as long of short a time as you want....More

No. Try nearby Pleasant Valley (Mass Audubon) instead. They have a lovely all access path that would be more suitable.
