Visited on an early Sunday morning and there was still parking available for the boat launch. There were only a couple of other people out on the water at 7am so it was nice and quiet. Easy to get to and pretty pond.

An excellent place to paddle and fish with a canoe or kayak. The water quality is very clear throughout most of the year. If boating isn't your thing, then maybe the hiking trails by Goose is. You can day hike in or go to the...More

If you enjoy kayaking/canoeing, you must go there. It's sooooo beautiful. You have to kayak to the far end of lower goose pond to go thru the passage to upper goose pond. Try to take a picnic and find a place along the shore or...More

The ponds are beautiful for kayaking as other reviewers have said. But there were two party boats when we were there playing loud music, hooting and hollering. One was on the lower pond and one was on the upper. It was a weekend, so if...More

Great place to bring your kayak. Some good swimming areas also. Getting your boat and in and out can be tough on a busy day. Small launch area and minimal parking.

Beautiful reservation in the Berkshires. A great place to kayak. Clean and beautiful. Unfortunately we didn't see much wildlife, but we still had a great time kayaking.

Kayaking Goose Pond is almost like having a private lake - you run into very few other boaters. Go all the way to Upper Goose Pond by boating through the tree lined channel and then you'll have even fewer encounters with other boaters. We watched...More

Goose pond is a nice little lake to pass a few hours, but lacks the small tributaries and pull offs that I like to get lost in. It's in a beautiful location and peaceful, and I would go back just to paddle around and drift...More

I've started making this a regular visit from my home nearby. Water is clear as can be; motorboat traffic pretty well managed, kayaking, canoeing, swimming are excellent. This would be a tough place if you have picnickers mixed with swimmers/boaters as the picnic lawn is...More

Hi. No rentals or place to swim if you don't have a boat.
