The Lee Library is a great quiet venue to read and to relax. They have plenty of newspapers and magazines. If you need a book, and it's not there, they have an inter library service. In the summer, local residents can obtain free cultural passes for many Berkshire attractions. The personnel there all like their jobs because they are courteous,... More

I love old libraries, and this one did not disappoint. It has a ton of character, and is quite beautiful. The building dates from 1907, nd has been updated to provide patrons with a modern library experience.

Excellent lecture that helped us appreciate a concert at Tanglewood. Yudkin commented on the three works on the program

Small but with a great selection of books. Used for sale for the traveler. Computers readily accessible and service as good as the condo.

The Lee Library's original 1907 building immediately caught my eye as we walked down the town's Main Street. It features white marble and a Corinthian style, which is unusual for a small New England town. As an architecture buff and an avid book reader, I could not resist going in. Polished birch woodwork gave a nice touch to the simple... More

Very old fashioned library, senior citizens reading newspaper, partly a museum for old local artifacts. Antique fixtures. My daughter is writing an article about libraries being outdated. She should have seen the Lee Library!
