Parking is a little expensive, but I had a friend who's parents have a trustee membership and we got in for free. Beach was super worth the drive. Very clean, very nice, and very friendly beach with long pretty stretches to walk.

Hard to find a nicer beach near Boston, although it's a little difficult to get to, and the parking is limited, and it costs 30 dollars if you are not a member. All that is worth it though, because the beach is beautiful, and clean,...More

Crane Beach is a beautiful beach on the North Shore. The parking fee is a little pricey, but it worth it. The sand is white, the beach is scenic, the bathrooms/changing areas are nice and clean.

We had never been to a beach in Massachusetts before, but we have been missing out! This beach was clean, welcoming, and perfectly located. Additionally, the boathouses were nice and well kept. Even the setting was perfect, with extremely long beaches to walk in either...More

I grew up going to this and Wingaersheek Beach and other local North Shore beaches on repeat. They are within a short drive from where I went spent my childhood. Rather than schlepping the long haul to the Cape, fighting traffic, and staying overnight or...More

Most people who visit Crane Beach go to the southern part. But there is a great beach to the north of the mansion. Looks out over Plum Island and Little Neck. Not as peopled and a nice alternative if you have visited Crane's before.

We were there 10 days ago, and there were no flies that we experienced. But 10 days is a long time.

Very calm beach. Hardly any waves to speed of. Safe swimming with lifeguards. You can walk into the sea quite a way before it gets passed your knees

It is $30 to park at Crane Beach for the day. You can park away from the beach, however they charge for walk in access also. There are walking trails through Crane Estates that are very scenic and the walking on the beach... More
