If you travel Mon-Thurs there's a much better price on the high speed ferry and you can reserve your tickets online. If you're taking your bike, you will have priority and will be the first ones on the ship. Everything runs smoothly and is very...More

We took the fast ferry frpm Hyannis to Nantucket and back. The offer a good same day round trip price. It only took an hour to get there. The seats are comfortable, and they have a cafe on board.

In order to get to the islands you either take Cape Air or a Steamship Authority Ferry. I enjoyed the relaxing and reasonable time taking the ferry to the islands. I found the trip to be easy and problem free travel.

basic transportation to MV, only way to get your car there. walk on's are no problems, reservations for cars are a must long in advance. Trips are always nice if you leave when the sun is setting. Also they now have a bar that you...More

I know one doesn't have a lot of options when traveling to the islands with a car, but I'd recommend anyone but this company if you can. To begin, on a perfect day, the boats are delayed 3 hours. Then, in a move that baffles,...More

we took the high speed ferry from Hyannis to Nantuckett. The ride was very nice and the round trip fare was a bit cheaper than the Hyline high speed ferry next door $50 vs $77. The ride was nice.

Great comfortable ride to Nantucket. Nice snack bar and beverage bar on the Ferry. Outdoor and indoor area to sit. They load and unload passengers quickly, which is great, considering the amount of passengers riding.

Trip to Nantucket took a leisurely 2 hours but, as a foot passenger was much cheaper than the Hy Line fast ferry. We went for the day and enjoyed the boat trip as much as the stroll around Nantucket

Yes you can, and if you go to Steamship authority website and they can get you rates and prices. Unless you need a car for any length of time you might be better off to rent a vehicle on island as the rates are lower now... More

Our hi-speed ferry did not take cars. You will find it very pricey to take a car on either island. I suggest one of the tour buses or a taxi to get around the island.
