Not available to us as out-of-towners but after hours a great place to stop and the sunset was beautiful

View of Boston skyline on a clear day. Free parking, very nice waters. You can't go wrong. Enjoy the view and sand

If you are a keen birde Niles Beach and Brace Cove is a good place to visit at low tide and at dusk. Preferably both.

I found Glossy Ibis, Black Crowned, Green and Little Blue Herons plus Cedar Waxwings various waders and loads of REd Winged Blackbirds

This beach is excellent and also for families with small kids, but there are rarely large waves, and the bay offers a protected area for a swim. Hard to park in the summer, though.

This area was beautiful to just sit and relax. The weather and the people were awesome. This seems like the perfect time of the year to visit.

A nice alternative to the larger beaches of Gloucester, this is a good place to spend time at season of year...sunning. swimming or simply walking. This small, city owned stretch of beach is safe for Kids...they can't get lost. Parking is limited so get there early to snag a spot. Free to residents with a sticker.

Off season so pulled off and watched the ocean and sun with the boats tied up. Pretty site. Enjoyed!

We went to this beach when we didn't get into Good Harbor. It's a private beach, so we weren't surprised that we got a $45 ticket. However, we really wanted to go to the beach that day. Take you sandals because it is very rocky in some parts of the beach.

Very protected harbor along the Gloucester coastline. Favorite with residents and great for walking, jogging, yoga, lunchbreaks and family outings.
