Thoroughly loved this whale watch (5/19/17). Great guides! There was an "unruly and not so well mannered or chaperoned" school group on this tour but the tour guides gritted their teeth and handled themselves well. The rest of us were still able to enjoy ourselves....More

The staff was terrific! We had such a great time! We saw several whales and were able to watch them for quite a time. On the way back, we saw Atlantic White-sided dolphins.

It was a wonderful weekend which we got to spend out in deep ocean. They had a great boat, comfortable and clean and spacious enough. Lot of seats with less people so there were enough viewing spaces. The narrator gave a lot of information and...More

Thoroughly enjoyable few hours spent aboard the Privateer IV. The crew were amazing, fantastic knowledge of the feeding grounds, the whales migration patterns and the whales themselves. I learnt a lot. At first I was getting nervous as we had gone out quite a way...More

It took a long time to find the whales, but when we did, we saw Humpback, including one with a calf, Minke and Finback whales. The knowledge the crew shared was so interesting then on the way home we got to see a large pod...More

We went out May 9th, and it was super chilly on the water. We were starting to think we weren't going to see any whales, but the crew refused to give up, and after about three hours, we were graced with the presence of about...More

I notice some people get seasick on these tours. Is there anything we can do ahead of time to prevent this? Is there stuff on the boat to ease the misery or does it end up being a couple hours of torment? Thanks

I can share my experience: I had no pills but I made a stupid mistake: I ate. My lunch ended up quite shortly in a plastic bag that the boat crew was ready to give me. After that I was fine.
