Cape Ann Brewing Company is an award-winning, family-owned, micro-brewery and the home of Fisherman's Brew. It’s Brewpub features the brewery’s award-winning craft beers brewed on-site, with a bar shaped like the port side of a ship. Long, German-style wooden tables and a sitting area with several rocking chairs create a mellow, laid-back atmosphere unlike anything else in the Cape Ann community. Classic board games are available for leisurely enjoyment. Local artist renderings adorn the wood-paneled walls and the large picture windows look out onto St. Peter’s Square where the famed St. Peter’s Fiesta is held each June.

Had lunch with a friend recently. I expected good beer and it was but the food was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed my fish tacos very much, buddy had chowder and burger. All excellent. Service was good as well. I will come back more frequently!

There were 8 of us who went in for a mid afternoon lunch and we all had great pub food and really, really good fresh-brewed beers. Although there was not a table big enough for us to all sit together when we first got there,...More

I really enjoyed my time at Cape Ann Brewpub. Cape Ann is near the Gloucester Center, walking distance to many attractions. Parking is an issue, there are not many lots nearby, and street parking is available for a fee. The pub it's self is awesome,...More

Awesome central location in Gloucester. The food we had was quite good. Tried the pretzel and had the tuna salad. Parking available on the street outside. The beer is quite good also.

Great beer seafood sandwiches, and a great view from the outdoor dining deck. The staff is super friendly. A fun place

The establishment makes its own craft beer. It also serves a wide variety of pub food. The clam chowder was huge and the fried shrimp were fresh. Worth the try in lively Gloucester

First of all, the two brews we drank were very tasty! Kösh Cologne style which is very light and the Bavarian Wheat (very "American"). The clam strips were fresh and delicious and the haddock Sandwich was absolutely wonderful. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and...More

The ambient is nice and service is good. The patio outside is specially nice! The food is quite expensive and not impressive. I had a Lobster roll that cost $19 dollars with very little lobster meat. The steak tips my husband had was not good!...More

Check the web site. Many breweries are closed on Mondays. I just don't know.

sorry, no...Unless it's a service pet Gloucester has not gotten on board with being pet friendly in restaurants. You can tie up your dog right next to the deck however.
