I felt like I was in a Maurice Prendergast oil painting just looking around at the surf, rocks, black umbrellas. The sounds of the waves are the best.

Nice beach, but not as nice as Singing Beach or Wingaersheek Beach. Recommend going to those first, but it is still a nice beach.

Enjoyed a walk, but felt out of place without a romping dog. Beautiful little beach in off-season. It was a short walk from end to end, and despite the "NO Animals" signs, almost a dog park at 8 on a Saturday morning. Dog owners were...More

This place is my home when I'm off from work in the summer! Such a beautiful place to be when you have off time! If you are ever in the Gloucester area this place is a must see!

We visited at the end of August, and crowds weren't as bad as I thought they would be. Great for swimming and collecting seashells.

I do not think grilling is allowed. Check out Stage Fort Park in Gloucester. You can grill there, have a picnic bench and walk 3 minutes to a cute beach. Where are you from?
