I love the beach to explore, walk the shore see the sunrise and tip toe into the surf. Parking is soooo high, $25 0n the weekday , $35 on weekends. Best to know someoneinorder to save on this expense.

This is the best of the large public beaches on the North Shore. The gem is "Salt Island". You can take your honey there, go on the other side, dive in and lay out in relative privacy. Girls love this place and I love girls!

Good Harbor Beach has always been one of my favorite North Shore beaches. I love it that there is a small inlet that is shallow and calm - perfect for smaller children to wade in.

I spent at least two hours wandering the beach. Able to walk out to the island and enjoy the waves. Sunset is just spectacular
