While visiting Falmouth we decided to tour the Cornelia Cary Sanctuary (The Knob". The location is absolutely lovely and has a great view. We stayed long enough to observe the sunset and as a result met many people from various locations (USA and other countries) enjoying their time away. Would highly recommend the walk and plan to do this again.

This is a lovely spot, but as people have noted, it is also very popular and there are very few parking spaces. The hike out to the knob with ocean vistas is reasonable in the daylight but not completely flat so walking shoes are recommended for the careful or uneasy walker. There are spots you can hike off to on... More

It's a nice view perched on the top of a hill. My friends oohed and ahhed. It was okay, but not worth the walk along an unmaintained dirt path along the beach. There is no lighting, so it came become interesting walking after sunset.

We enjoyed walking around the Harbor but the main reason we went was to walk the trails to see the sunset. It was a great evening and it's an easy walk and short climb (up stairs) to where you can sit on the rocks and watch the sunset-really an ideal spot. We were licky to see a gorgeous sunset. I... The Knob is a beautiful location and a really easy hike. The view of Buzzards Bay is beautiful, and the walk past Quissett Harbor is nice, too. We hiked out on the harbor side and returned on the more direct path closer to Buzzards Bay. We enjoyed going at low tide to explore the beach and rocky shoreline on the... More

Not only is this out of the way a great spot for a short hike to the water but there's a beach perfect for little ones near Quisset Harbor too. And if you like to sketch or paint this is perfect - or bring a picnic

This is a lovely place for a short walk. Unfortunately these is very little parking. Come early on the morning or after five. Come before or after summer where you will find less people and crowds.

Trails now overgrown with the excellent possibility of you getting poison ivy along with tick borne diseases and multiple mosquito bites.

This is a must see. You go from the marina through the woods along the coast to the knob. You can take different paths down to the beach or marina rocks. The views and foliage are breathtaking. Lived here for years and missed this hidden gem.

We had a great morning walking and beaching here. It's dog friendly - leash only and our golden had the time of her life. Trails are narrow and poison ivy plentiful, so be careful. There is a particular challenge to hiking on narrow bumpy trails in flip flops carrying beach chairs. However once you get to the beach, it's worth... More
